We
find that by the time a pupil reaches Key Stage 4 there is no real way of
judging what information you are going to require to complete your assignment.
With this in mind, we have placed at the top of the page some direct links to pages that we think you may wish to look at. If your assignment is dealing with issues other than the history of the castle then please don't hesitate to use the rest of the website. If there is a specific question that you would like to ask about the castle (remember that it is your assignment) please email us at info@conisbroughcastle.org.uk and ask. We would like to build up this section of the website to assist pupils in the future, so we would appreciate your input, let us know which school you go to and also the title or wording of your assignment, this will help us to gather resources for you and for the future. Excavations at Conisbrough Castle 1973 - 1977, by Stephan Johnson, an excerpt from the Yorkshire Archaeological Journal, Vol. 52, 1980. This is presented as a series of gif images that have been scanned from a set of photocopies provided by Chris Robinson from Doncaster Museum.
